Our client is a worldwide leader in the field of oil, gas and petrochemical engineering, construction and services and as a result of their continued growth and success they now require the services of a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their New Plymouth office. Working within the team your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure all mechanical engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices.
- Prepare preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all mechanical engineering project work and ensure project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.
- Ensure mechanical engineering projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide high level technical support for all mechanical engineering project work as required.
- Prepare documentation for standards, procedures, safe working practices and monitoring regimes in respect of work on or around mechanical engineering projects.
- Liaise with other department engineers and draftspersons to ensure project goals are met.
- Provide input to the mechanical engineering budget
To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified with a minimum of 7 years Oil & Gas experience along with Rotating Equipment, Piping and Pressure Vessel knowledge. Please apply now to Wayne Gower |
